Blog texts will be translated in english soon!

We rebuilt everything about that boat!

We exchanged almost all underwater rivets to bolts!

Now there are approx 1300pcs bolts :D

:welcome: to the iboats Starmada SippeRock!

You've replaced 1300 rivets with machine screws! What a huge undertaking and expense. I grabbed a couple of your project pics.

Saw that you drilled the holes out to 6mm.

What size bolt, length, diameter, course thread or fine.

What type of nut, lock, nylock, kep lock, standard.

any washers.

Assume all of the above is Stainless.

What sealant?

Hardware could also be fasteners.

Yes, i drilled holes out to 6mm. Maybe 6.2mm is right size now. Original rivet hole was a 5.2mm.

Bolt size: 6x20mm stainless (acid resisting steel) with normal metric thread.

Outside: big washers (diameter 15-20mm)

Inside: normal sized washers and nylock nuts.

Sealant is 291i Marine sikaflex. The whole seal went more than 5 liters :D
