Motor hatch pics please

Im getting ready to have a fiberglass or wood hatch made for my 78 Sleekcraft Aristocrat tunnel. Like some good ideas thrown at me.

These pics are before I started to restore it.

Is that a jet or an I/O? Are you wanting something similar to the original engine cover? Are you going to keep the over transom headers? If it is a jet there is a good group over at performanceboats.com in the jet section. I have never really checked out the I/O section over there but I'm sure it is pretty active as well.

I just went through this. I think it was one of the hardest parts of my project to get correct.
