I have a prop question?

I am currently using a 4 blade SS prop, not sure what size, no markings. I get about 46 mph on GPS. Tried a 3 bladed 23p and get around 49-50mph on GPS, not sure what my rpms are. the tach doesn't work. Was wondering what prop I should try next, was thinking that my boat with this motor should run around 60mph. would like to try a 23p 4 blade, not sure if it would get me closer or if I need to step up to a 24p 4 blade ss prop. Please help, need suggestions, any and thanks for the advice.

ok, me again, no replies yet. Measured the pitch of my prop and it is a four bladed 18p predator SS. I know now why I can get out of the whole great. I am looking for a 22 or 23p four blade SS omc prop. Also, what should my pad height be.
