skeeter sf-150 fs question

would a 65hp mercury short shaft be a good motor for this boat? right now it has a mercury 150hp but its blown.. i have an older chrysler 120hp but i dont care for the engine that much so i am looking at the merc 65. just wanna make sure its a good motor for the boat. thanks

You want at least 70% of the hull's max rated horsepower for acceptable performance.

its rated at 150. so the 65 wouldnt work good for it? and do you know if i need a short shaft or not?
