Generator corroded and caught fire on 2007 SeaRaySundancer 440. Gen located port side. Corrosion on top and where gen connects to hull. Replaced gen but rain or wash down drains water from deck onto gen. SeaRay Design flaw per diesel gen experts and will recur due to location of gen in bilge (port side under vent) in 2007 model year of Sundancer 440. Need drainage solution - service thinking maybe a drain that bypasses gen and drains down into bilge. Has anyone else experienced this in the 2007 SeaRay Sundancer 440? Any drainage recommendations to prevent water from deck (rain or wash-downs) from hitting gen and any seals placed on gen - boat connections? We've placed izenglass over the gen covers but full of water after rain or washdown. Significant safety concern/fire hazard
