Keeps blowing fuse

I have a 2010 V210 when I plug the inflator into the 12 volt receptacle in rear storage it blows the 5 amp fuse at the battery. Any thoughts on how to resolve this as it is a pain to lift rear seat and use the battery clips when you have more than six people on the boat.

It sounds like 1)you either have a short in your inflator, or 2)it draws too many amps for the receptacle's output to handle. Does it work OK (without the clips or wires getting hot) when you use the clips on the battery? If it does, it 's #2

Inflator works fine using clips, doesnt get hot. I assumed that it was #2 just wanted to see if any one had the same problem, and how they resolved it.
