Re: Fuel Tank Removal & Capacity?

For anyone else asking this question, it is a 89 gal. tank. The removal process is to drain, flush, fill w/water,remove all hoses and wiring, remove the front 22" with a grinder and cut off wheel, drain water, drill 2" holes-2, run a lifting stap through and raise ,alot of effort is involved. Once that is removed it allows you enough room to jockey the ramaining tank section forward to clear the deck and into the access port, once there proceed to jack and comealong till loose enough to lift out. replace reverse the process minus the cutting, may want to install a new sending unit while accessable. Good Luck:)
