I've been lurking iBoats for a few months and have a question about a boat I looked at today. Overall, the boat seemed to be in really good shape. The hull, glass, vinyl, engine bay all look great. It did have the cracked floor in the ski locker that seems to be too common, so that's a concern. The thing that struck me odd is the fact that it has carpet covering the entire interior of the boat. The floors, up into the side storage compartments, up under both consoles, every square inch that isn't upholsters, is carpeted. IS that the way these boats came OEM or has someone added this? The floors feel solid but I have no way of seeing any of them. The other thing is, between the bucket seats and the side of the boat, the floor isn't flat...there's a sort of ridge running front to rear, diminishing as it goes behind the seat. Is that supposed to be like that?
