i had to remove my oil tank to get some debris out of it. the sensor was shutting me down at about 2k rpm, the manual said to take the sensor off and clean or replace it so i cleaned it. now the main feed line to the oil injector pump has no oil in it. i fired it up for a second to see if it would pull oil into it but didnt want to chance ruining anything. how do you prime the oil pump? my buddy runs a salvage yard and he said on the port side of the motor there was a red button to prime it. i asked if the motor needed to be running and he said all i needed was for the ikey to be turned on?????????????? i am at work right now on lunch. does the info he gave me sound correct?

You should move this to the outboard repair and maint. forum/suzuki.

It will not get answered here.
