i am looking at purchasing a 540 quintrex freedom sport and putting a 115 2 stroke. which has more grunt out of the 115? also does the quintrex look up to its reputation.
had a few "quinnies" in my time, very reputable make and very few problems, as far as the 115 goes, I sort of think 115 HP is 115HP regardless of make, but, the V4 evinrude/johnson seems to be very smooth,the 115 yamaha is a heavy beast (but still very good) but,I think, it comes down to dealer support in your area later on
