This old trailer came with the boat. It is a very unique trailer in that I haven't seen any like it around before. We welded an attachment on the tounge of the trailer for the jack and had it blasted and painted. Now to put it back together, with a little help form my youngest... Great time together.

Nice work on the trailer ! And great to see the young ones getting some hands on experience !
The trailer is still on my list of things to do ..

ya, mine needs round two. I cleaned mine up a lot about 2002 and painted it "sea pearl white." It is a 1964 Sea King.

Then, when I started "frostbite" fishing on Champlain 4 seasons back, it got rust stains everywhere from running it over salt-covered roads. I think a sandblaster and a decent prime and paint will preserve it fine as none of the rust is structural- yet.

I am thinking I will do this in spring or next summer. I want to modify the axle and change fenders to accept 14" tire/rims. The 5.70x8s make me nervous when towing 300 miles to fish Oneida each summer.

Those round-tube trailers are neat-looking though.
