Some time ago a free MFG and an old Johnson came to "rest" at my house. Now is the year (or next year) to put her back in the water. Can anyone help me with age model etc?

Beneath where the quarter deck used to be, to starboard is an ID sticker: 018352 and Ashtabula, Ohio. The boat measures 12' 8" OA x 61" B x 17" depth at transom.

By WAG and brochures at Fberglassics I am thinking mid 50's manufacture.

Re: Ancient MFG

I'll work on photos but the boat is just a hull. Once it had a quarter deck and the hull is simulated lapstrake. There is a front bench seat but that is all.

This may take a while because I need to go fishing this week and next.

Thanks, JOE

Re: Ancient MFG

No problem , Good luck fishing !! Some of the early mfg's were sold as openboats and some had wood fore-deck and gunnel -if not cared for they can rot too... just a thought . peter

Fishin' was great! Catchin' wasn't. Here are a few pics of my MFG. Deck is about 48 inches.

Anyony? Any idea of year and model?
