I wish for a bow rail

Crossing my fingers, a friend is scraping out an old boat and asked if I wanted the bow rail for my boat, he said it was about the only thing that was salvagable and still in good shape, heck yea I'll give it try. Anyone out there have one on their rig? pros & cons. Thanks

can be a safety item on rock-and-rolly big water, but most MFG's are closed bow, unless yours is a bowrider of some sort. I climb across my windshield and bow a lot so for me it would be in the way.
