We recently purchased a 1989 16' Mark Twain open bow with an Mercury outboard. Couple questions. Does anybody have any pics or original sales brochure of these boats? All of the interior has been redone (very poorly) and we would like to see how it was originally. Also the stickers are all gone from the boat, so we have no idea of the capacity, the max motor size or any other pertinent info. It currently has a, what we believe to be a 175HP V6 Mercury engine on it, however the outside cowling says 100hp oil injected. Were not seeing anywhere that Merc has made a 100hp V6 since 1970 and it's not that old. Did these boats come with such engines? Any other info anybody can give us would be great, we are complete newbies to Mark Twains and didn't know there was such a thing until Sunday.
