I have a 2002 Larson SEI180 with Springfield pedestal seats. The seat has swivel & slide functions on the base and recently the swivel will not lock into place. The slide portion works fine.
I took the seat off and nothing appears broken or missing on the base although the swivel mechanism spring was compressed. I lubricated all surfaces and spring and after a few taps was able to move the mechanics into the locked position. Everything is tight and when I again move the handles to release the mechanism sticks again and won't reset.
Other than lubricating is there something I'm missing or better than 3-in-1 oil ??
