310 Cabrio - Clarion Stereo Hook-up

Hi All,


I've just taken delivery of a new 310 Cabrio, having moved on from a 285 Bayliner.

I know it's not a critical problem, but the factory fitted Clarion Stereo needs the key in the ignition on the Stbd engine to work.

This is quite a nuisance if you're moored for an extended stay - I'd prefer to hook the stereo up to one of the ACCESSORY switches on the helm and not need to put the key in !

Is this the normal setup for the Clarions ?

Does anyone know where the feed wire might be taken from ?
