cockpit scuppers won't drain. only noticed when washing down the boat. can stick a hose very far in but won't drain. not sure (newbie) of how the drains work and don't want to force something i shouldn't (looks like they're below water line)

thanks

Re: clogged scupper

which model KW do you have ?

Which end did you put the hose in ?

Do they have the rubber flap on the transom outlet?

Are both clogged ?

problably something stock in the line (leaves, debris...).

Re: clogged scupper

2020DC. both clogged. Rubbed hand on water side, very rough and uneven surface. Realized barnacles etc. Just wondering how much force to scrape them out? Not sure the mechanics of the scupper and what I can damage?

Re: clogged scupper

I also have a 2020dc (2001), and just replace the factory (falling apart/cracked) plastic scupper with some attwood SS

No "mechanic" for the scuppers unless there are the ball type.

just be sure there is no crack in them if they are the plastic one
