1989 Invader Center Console Restoration

Recently traded a 21 foot Hydra-Sport Hull for a running but well worn 1989 17' Invader Center Console. This boat suits my needs better as a lake and river fishing rig. I decided to go through the entire boat and do a restoration with some mods. I am about two months in now working on it part time. I will be posting pictures of the restoration soon.
Restoring an Invader is a challenge due to limited information but is moving along well. As I learn details I will post them. BTW, the boat came with a 115 HP Johnson. Although the hull is rated at 150 HP I am going to use the 115 initially and see how it goes.

I had a 1984 17' Invader, it was one of the best boats I ever had. Used it in the Ocean and it handle the rough water great. Mine had a 1984 90HP Murcury the was more then enough power.

Fantastic man, I have a 21 ft 211 CC and love it. I hope I can help, and make sure to do a gas tank inspection if you can for this is one of the earlier problems. Besides that I love it. Please share your pictures so we can trade thoughts.

A few After pics. Rebuilt from the ground up. New wiring, Re-skinned floor, rebuilt console, new instruments, carpet, trim tabs. Pretty much new everything.

I know this is way old now, but how does it run with the 140? Im look at a newer model of this boat with the same motor set up. Cruise and WOT speeds?
