Hi,

I'd like to permanently remove the windshield on my SD187. Can this be done and how hard is it? How many holes will be left after doing this? Is there anything I can put in those holes? Do I need to?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Tom,
Unless windshields have changed drastically in the past few years, there should be a rubber strip set into the bottom aluminum channel of your windshield. If so, pull it out to expose the screw heads that secure the windshield to the fiberglass. I recommend that you fill all the holes with some thickened epoxy and finish it off with some matching gelcoat. I discovered this because my windshield on an older Rinker bow rider came loose once and I saw the corner of the rubber stip sticking out and pulled it out. Tightened the screws and it has been fine since.
