First pontoon. I've got a small hole in the starboard log. There is a drain plug on the back and 3 on top. I saw water dripping from the pinhole and heard it sloshing around. We jacked it up with the rear plug removed and no water came out. The top plugs are removed but they are partially blocked. It is less than a 1/4" opening. So I can't seem to get a tube in there to syphon. Ideas?

Drill a small hole in the low point on the toon. Then have the hole TIG welded after all the water's drained.

Toons need to be pressure tested before putting them back in the water. And it doesn't take any more pressure than a vacuum cleaner blowing (in reverse.) You need to go all over the toon, but especially along the seams, with soapy water--looking for any voids.

You really need the top plugs put back in the boat--completely sealed. Some of the structure of toons comes from the air inside the toons being sealed.
