Carpet & ski storage

My carpet and ski storage compartment stays wet for way too long. (mold on the carpet today) Anyone else have this issue with a Glastron boat? I can't just keep the tarp off it for days to allow it to dry. I checked the drain line in the ski compartment and it's clear. I have to tilt the boat up to get the water out. Also weird is that it is has carpet in that compartment so if I ever left the boat in the water it would never get dry.

how much water is in the boat after being out on the lake for a day?

Boat lists to one side, carpet is wet all the time. You may want to check and see if your flotation foam is wet.
