I just bought a 1992 Glasstream 190. I took it to a local boat dealership to look it over. They saw that there were 2 plywood shims on either side of the engine between the mount and the glass. The lag bolt went through all plywood and into fiberglass. Is this type of shim from the factory or some after hours repair? The plywood had what appeared to be gel coat and was the same color as the glass under the engine. Any thoughts?
