Yo All,
Too quiet out here so I thought I would drop this in.
I have been working on my Glasply trying to get her ready for this spring and while I was working up in the V today I noticed that there was a little water up there.
Apparently they didn't seal the tow bolt holes too well up there so the backer wood is rotting.
My big question since this wood is all glassed in is how bad the repair would be? I dont think too bad if I can get wood out easily. Just put a new backer block in there with new stainless metal plate behind it.
Since hull is fiberglass shouldn't that be the only rotting part up there? What do you guys think?
