Hi
I purchased my boat mid last year and have been learning about it thanks to this great forum and the Volvo books. I was in the process of replacing the bilge pump and noticed an electrical connector with a single cable hanging from it going nowhere. Looks like the other end of this connector is in helm area because the bilge connector is also running through the conduit. Could someone shine some light on what it's for? (Pics 1-4)

I also noticed a connector with a 2 purple lines near the ignition panel and I'm thinking it's for an engine hour gauge. Is this correct? (pic 5)

thanks in advance!

Re: 1999 Four Winns 220 Horizon Electrical Questions

My boat also has several unused connections. I assume Four Winns use a one-size-fits-all wiring harness and the unused connections are for options or engines I don't have.

If you really want to know what the connections are for you may have to look at the wiring diagrams for all the engine options offered for your boat.
