Has anyone heard of putting a pylon or tower or pole on a 180 Horizon? Is this boat too small for a tower?

Re: ski pylon/tower/pole?

I just finished building this summer a 7ft wakeboard tower for my 1989 Four Winns Freedom 170, it works great! I had a 6.5ft pole on a smaller boat (15'6") and there was a lot of pull, so I was surprised that the tower worked so well. Our boats a very similar is size,
yours: LOA 17'5", Beam 7'7", Draft 34", Weight 2310#
mine: LOA 18'6", Beam 7'3", Draft 26", Weight 2050#

I did change the prop to a lower pitch and leave the drive all the way down for more bite and control, it also seems to give a better wake for the wakeboarders.

I don't think you would have a problem for wakeboarding, obviously you would not want to pull a skier or tube from up there.
