I recently bought my first boat. I was told it is a 1968, and it has the fabuglas plate and a model number of D1462. It is a 14', with a 40 hp Evinrude Lark II. From what I could find the motor is a 1960. I am having trouble finding any info about the boat itself. It has the post office emblem on the side and I was told it was used to deliver mail to lake cottages in norther IN. It only has 2 seats in it now but I was wanting to add more along the back. I didnt know if this would throw off the weight or not? Any help would be wonderful.
