I need to replace my black water tank sensor. It was made by HDI Technologies in Grand Mere. I am looking at a sensor made by Wema.
It seems pretty similar, but to intergrate with all the HDI digital readout, I need to know what Ohms range it outputs. Wema's part has a signal output of 240-33 ohms standard, with another model that would output 0-180 ohms.
HDI has laid off most of it's employees and isn't offering any info. Does anyone know what ohms the factory tank sensor put out?

Hi Williamship, How did you get on with your new sensor? I have the same problem but have been ignoring it for quite some time.

Seem you both could take a standard DVM and measure the resistance and see which version it takes. OR, you could short the two wires together and see what the gauge reads to get an idea. IF the gauge pegs the scale then you could have the 0-180 ohm setup. And if the gauge shows empty or zero, then you could have the 240-32 ohm setup.
