Going to purchase a 2012 Crestliner Fish Hawk 1850 WT and am going to have a Yamaha four stroke put on it. The boat is rated for 150 hp but I am not sure if I should max it out with a 150 hp or downsize to a 115hp? I like the idea of having as much power as possible but concerned about the weight, especialy if I put a kicker on back as well. I am not concerned about top end speed but want to make sure I have enough power to maintain a moderate cruising speed while loaded down with pasangers and gear. I will be using it primarily for fishing bass and trolling for salmon and trout. Which motor would you recomend and why?
