Hello.

This is my first post here and should all go well it's the first of many.

I looked at a 1979 2455 today (on land) and it's in good enough condition to take for a test ride tomorrow. If all goes well I'll buy it. It's in a used but well maintained and unrestored condition and the only thing missing, to my untrained eye, is the trimming around the small windows on the side of the hull (I'm not into the correct vocabulary yet - I'm Swedish).

Are there any special things to consider when buying a 2455? I read something about looking for cracks where the windshield frame attaches to the fuselage (didn't see any today).

Engine is a 7,4 liter Mercruiser (carbed) with Alpha One drive. Is this possibly the original motor?

What kind of speed vs fuel flow am I looking at?

What's a suitable march speed?

Many thanks in advance!

/Magnus
