Hi Gang,

Finally was able to get the boat of my dreams... This low hour 2000 Cobalt 226 is a one owner cream-puff. I added the extended swim platform, and this current pic is where it's getting a custom waterline cover made... I can't wait till spring... I'm in love!

Great boat. My neighbors have the same model and same year, identical boat. They love it and it moves out pretty good too. I actually jealous that your garage is big enough to hold it. Whats the dry weight on that thing? I bet it'll be a bear to trailer.

Not my garage either... It belongs to the person making my waterline cover... I wish I could store indoors... I actually store it there in his pole building all winter, but in summer she's on the side of my house...
Not bad at all to trailer. ~3850 lbs dry. ~4500 loaded...

Re: My first Cobalt

My waterline mooring cover is finished. Should keep the weather and UV off the boat, as it's stored outside all summer.

Re: My first Cobalt

Cover looks great! Do you have any pics of the platform install?

It was installed by the dealer, as part of my deal...

According to Ron swimplatforms.com it can be done in an afternoon with a friend and simple mechanical skills..
