  • Chris Craft Owners: Register Your Boat or Restore Thread Here.

I am starting this thread as a gathering place of sorts for those who own Chris Craft Boats. Chris Craft boats have a rich history and tradition, and this will hopefully be a place to celebrate the classic lines and fine craftsmanship that make our boats unique. Whether you have classic woody, ski boat, speed, cruiser, fishing rig or yacht, let us know who you are and what you own.

Post No. 2 on this thread (below) will be a running inventory with links to various Chris Craft threads on this site. Either post your link (or send me a pm with it) and I will update the post periodically. Or, if you own a new or classic Chris Craft and just want to post a pic (or a few pics of it), feel free to do that as well.

Thanks and I hope you enjoy.

Great idea PMccraney. although I think mine will never be complete, there is always something to do. The bottom work i'm doing is the beggest project on her to date, atleast the most time consuming and muscle aching, lol

Not sure the year, chriscraft254......The boating industry was in a downturn at the time. Sometime in the mid 90's. I was an electrician, mostly dash panels and wiring harnesses.

Damn, i was hoping it was during the years my boat was built and you had stolen a bunch of building plans to give me at a later date. I would love to get my hands on some building specs/plans on this boat.

Nah....They practically escorted me out the door!

CC had a big lay-off. Many were let go. Just as well. This was the 2nd production builder I worked for. I prefered custom boats, more of a challenge for me. Went to Donzi Yachts after that.

I do miss some of the guys and gals I worked with at CC. They were a good group.

Great job on your boat......but I'm sure I already told you that!!!!!

Nice thread! Hoping to see some more pictures from others. Information is hard to get on these. I have some really nice picture I need to scan that show off the original interior really nicely.

here is the link to my rebuild, the current link you posted doesn't work for some reason.
