1984 century cortez

Hi new to the forum and owning a big boat I bought a 84 century cortez 300 last year been out of the water about 8 yrs however its in real good condition would like to talk with others that are familiar with this animal yes this is my first rodeo by the way does anyone know what the black capped bung is in the bilge is between the head and dinning table is ? Hey thanks for any help

Where are you located?

Are there any 'soft' spots in the deck or in the flooring below?

were in alabama i bought the boat out of new york and suprisingly its in really good shape no rot in the hull or deck one small place by the head boat has been out of the water about 8 yrs but engines are free and full of antifreeze tryin to get her goin by next summer i ll try to get some pics of it on here if i can figure out how to
