value and quality of newer century boats??

Hey I found a 2008 24IS century boat that looks like it might fit my needs for fishing and family and then I found out that century has hung it up. I was wondering how it has affected the resale of there boats in that?? And what kind of quality the century fleet is since they were taken over by yamaha?? Has anyone had any experience of dealing w/ century since they shut down w/ warranty or what ever reason??? If I didnt like the boat could I get rid of it???
