  • Celebrity vs. Celebrity Crownline

I'm interested in learning more about the Celebrity brand and the various models they built. I recently bought a 1985 Celebrity V190 BR with the 5.0L Mercruiser. From what I can tell, that means it's a 19 ft. bowrider with a deep "V" hull.

In looking at photos of other Celebrity boats online, I see that some are designated as "Celebrity Crownline." Is that an upgrade to the basic boat? Nothing on my boat says "Crownline," but the upholstery seems to be more like the interior of those other boats that carry that designation rather than like the boats that are described only as Celebrity.

    Re: Celebrity vs. Celebrity Crownline

I just purchased a 1987 Celeb Calais. From the research I have done Crownline was the next level up from Calais.
