1992 celebrity 180

I have a 1992 celebrity 180 open bow. I would like to take the seats out to have them recovered but am unsure how to take the seat backs out in the bow. I am also wanting to replace the carpet. What is the best way to take the carpet out. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Reach up underneath the seat backs. You will hav e to feel around a little bit but you should find several bolts with washers and nuts holding each pad on. If its like mine there will be three or four per side plus two on the small front pad. As for the carpet..... find a loose area and get to tearing. I've heard that if you get the old carpet out in good shape you can use it as a template for the new carpet. I've never been able to do that though. Good luck.
