Need Help w/Power Trim&Tilt

Hi, I am the owner of a (86) Celebrity Bow Rider w/a 5.0 Mercuriser Alpha 1 drive that I brought this year and I really like this boat, but I am having problms with the Trim raising it seems to work for a while then stops also the trailer button will not work but after it sits for while it starts to work agian,I have only tried adding oil at this time and it stills does the same (Any Help Is Greatly Appreciated!)

Can you hear the pump whirling? Do you notice any leaks in bilge or inside near transom?

I have an '88 Celebrity bowrider with the exact same problem. The trim working intermittently is most likely corroded wires or a bad ground. I have replaced the solenoids and still had the same problem. I'm going to go through all the wires and connections to make sure everything has a good connection by this weekend. Nice to see that someone else has the same gremlin... Lol. Good luck.
