Looking at purchasing a 1986 Carver Riviera with twin V8's that has been used in salt water. I am a fresh water person, and that is where the boat is going. I am told the Riviera has an enclosed anti-freeze filled cooling system for the motors. Is any salt water used in the cooling process?
Due to it being in salt water, what should I look for as possible issues with this boat? Specific electrical, motor, or other corrosion issues?
The boat is on the dry so I won't be having a survey done.
Thanks!
Mike L.
