Hello Whaler fans , I'm considering building myself a stainless steel fuel tank for my Montauk . It currently has the standard plastic tank under the seat and I've never liked it . It's always leaked at the flange for the gauge/pickup tube , doesn't have baffles and it makes me real nervous when a shark or Cobia starts slappin or biting it . If anyone has any suggestions caveats I sure would appreciate your sharing them with me . THANKS

Check out miraxfuelproducts.com if you haven't made the tank already. We've got two 12 gallon tanks on our boat. They are a great tank. If I ever build my own, I'd model it after those.
