I have a 7.4L that is MPI. I had a loss of power and found that it was blockage in the pick up tube in the tank. Thought problem was fixed but now there is still not much power. Changed the plugs and made sure of proper gap. Changed the rotor button and cap. Runs very smooth till you try and plane out. will work sometimes but then times just won,t go. Can this be an out drive problem ? Rechecked the pick up and it,s clean. Also have replaced the separator and have made sure the fuel is good. Really frustrated.
