hey all fastercat here, picking up my 1st baja on friday march 12 2010, i have to drive 359 miles to get it across 2 states, it an 2003 baja 242 islander with the 6.2 litre engine with 200 hrs, i have been looking for this boat for over a year and this one has to come home with me and striking an incredible deal for this perfectly like brand new gem, he wanted 31k and after 2 weeks of negotiating i am getting it for 23k i still cant believe it, the guy is desperate to liqidate everything before the banks takes it all, so anyways anything i should know about this motor and boat, and also where can i get the front bow carpet, bow filler cushion, and ideas what i should see with speed, he said it has a labbed 19 mirage prop, thanks in advance and i hope i can learn lots on here as i have with my other toys on other forums, and one more thing where can i get a manual for the mercruiser 6.2 litre?
