Hey Ho boaters. I thought you might like to see some of the modifications made to our 19 that I feel improve the utility of the boat.

The swim platform is the most obvious mod and one that we have thoroughly enjoy. I finally got around to relocating the fuel tank vent. I never noticed how much fuel was burping out until it started splattering all over my new teak platform. I also relocated the anchor light the rh side. with all of the traffic over the stern I figured it was only a matter of time before someone used it for a hand hold. While I was in a hole cutting mode; I went ahead and added the tow ring. And lastly, I insulated the engine cover some time ago. It is really surprising how much it cuts down on engine noise. Cheap and effective. Just the way I like them. The bunks on the trailer up front are for the vintage Kawasaki jet skis. Surprisingly, with the boat shifted aft on the trailer the balance isn't half bad. I pull the whole mess with a Toyota Sienna van... and yes, it is hitched to my electric golf cart in the 3rd pic. I use the cart to move it around the yard; very convenient.

Happy trails

Yes, the frame is all aluminum. I made a form block to match the curve of the transom.

Good job! I am going to install the engine cover insulation. Less noise is always good. I also like that ski eye you installed.
