I don't imagine that I am the only one with a broken 40 year old fuel guage. I recently had the fuel tank out of my boat. I should have replaced the sending unit while I had it out, but it was working before taking it apart. I must have damaged it somehow. Anyway, anybody know where I can get a new sending unit?

You can do an ohms test across the fuel sender/wires to verify that the fuel sender is the problem before going to much work to remove and buy a new one... Could just be a bad wire or correction or something else that simple too... Also check the meter to make sure it works properly as well. No need in buy parts for no reason...

I purchased an adjustable fuel sender that can be set for depth of thank and it has worked for me. They sell them here. Teleflex Universal Fuel Sender.
