I have a 1976 Nineteen and was wondering what the 2 mounting holes behind the rails for the sliding top are for.I have a 1963 ski boat and it has the same holes just smaller. They are used as an old school ski tower.Did the nineteen come with a ski tower of some sort?I have uploaded some pix.
Thanks,Mike

ya can go to www.aristocraftboats.com and look at the fiberglass brochures..... mine don't have any fitting in that location.

I'm pretty sure that those holes are fishing rod holders. Ziggy's got the right idea--check the brochures, there's lots of info in there. Good luck. PS--my 1970 Nineteen has the same set-up.

I put my rod holders in the same spot. I think he was talking about the small hole in the actual top runner. It may have been a drain hole someone added later or a place to stick a pin in to hold some kind of a bimini. Mine doesn't have any holes there.
