My 1987 22' Angler walkaround cuddie has a crack going down the transum right where the motor bolts on and also where the trolling motor goes the glass is pulling apart and I can see rotted wood. Can anyone help with the repair procedure it has a Johnson 235hp outboard which is quite heavy. I really like this boat (great fisher) and would like to save her.

Re: Transum needs repair

Last week I rebuilt the transom in my 1994 204 Angler using Seacast and am really pleased with the results. Seacast has a good instructional site with a video, though it looks easier than it is. It took a lot of prepwork and planning along with 15 Gallons of Seacast ($700). Also my stringers were in good shape, so I didn't have to deal with that.
