Hello all, I'm looking at a 2003 Anger cc with a 90 hp Johnson and I have two concerns. The boat looks like it is in great shape and the owner says that it only has 50 hrs on it. He is asking $9999 about $1900 over NADA. The second issue is I would like a boat to fish with and be able to pull a skiier with 2-4 people in the boat and I think that It may be underpowered. The owner says the boat will do high 40's, I'm not buying that. Does this sound like too much for the boat and will the 90 hp be able to do what I want? Can anyone tell me their top speed with a 90? Thanks for the input.

I have a 2007 angler cc with a mercury 90 2stroke - I would call it minimally powered -- my top speed is no where near 40 - I use it mainly for fishing and it cruises nicely in the mid to upper twenties -- probably tops out just over 30 -- if your after better preformance I would consider a larger engine

also -- I bought mine in 2009 new as a dealer leftover -- on a trailer it was just under $13,000. That price for a 2003 might be a tad high

I have a 2000 18 ft Angler cc with an 01 115 yamaha 2 stroke. My top speed is around 38mph with two adults and fishing gear. I can tell a difference when I add a third person and for what you want to do you should consider either a larger boat/motor or a larger motor for this boat. I love my angler and it is perfect for me and my father in law to fish on.

I'm looking at a 18 ft 2008 angler with a 2009 115 HP Yamaha that appears to be in very good condition. Comes with a Aluminum trailer, no top Any one have any concerns or issues I should be aware of? Looks to be very solid and reliable?
