I'm looking to get a cover for my 1965 Alumacraft FD. However, without going full custom, the closest i can find in late model Alumacrafts are are the 1992-1998 T14S.

Westland makes an exact fit cover for the 1992-1998 T14S. It's 1" shorter, has the same beam, but a wider transom width. Their covers allow for a 3" overhang all around the boat for a tight fit. I think this cover will fit a Late 1950's to early 1970's FD without having 6" of loose overhang all around the boat that the generic covers have.

I have the original 1965 cover for my boat, but it's completely falling apart and I'm trying to prevent spending a boat load on a custom cover. The boat is in pristine condition and I am to keep it that way. If I had an industrial sewing machine, I'd make my own!

What have others used for a good fitting cover for their vintage Alumacraft FD's that fits well without going generic?

Thanks in advance.
