That'll be a fun little boat although you'll likely outgrow it quickly. Great first one though....

Welcome Taylor. Great boat for a project. I am doing an 18' 73 SuperSport (SS) in phases. The guys already commenting have great counsel and have done many restores, very wise words. Post lots of pics and ask away.

    16' SuperSport

My 1971 16' Starcraft SuperSport beached on an island at Somerset Reservoir in Vermont. This moves right along with the 1980 Evinrude 85hp... I replaced the old 2 piece plexi windshield with a mid 80s SS 3 piece I got from Dukhuntr on this forum. I LOVE...

Mine has them as well, I used them to run wiring across and tapped some holes in them to attach the bow enclosure and make it easily removable.
