A bit of advice for all your new goodies. Pop for some Aerospace 303 protectant for the vinyl seats and the Aerospace fabric guard for your new bimini. You won't be sorry, it's great stuff....

I'd love to have the owners manual too. I just bought a used 2006 Q4 and have no idea about the simple stuff I should be aware of. Thanks so much!!

Yup, I don't do any skiing/tubing/wakeboarding with my rig...it would be underpowered for that stuff. I think you're on the right track with a 90 or 115. The old Yamaha 3 cylinder 2 stroke 90's are about the same weight as your motor, as well as bulletproof...

replied to how much insulation ?? 18ft SS
Hi Bob. I just used the scrap from the center bottom pieces to begin the pile in the outside segments. I then cut the next layer on a very shallow angle you can sort of see on the starboard side in the picture below. I don't have any better pictures....

  • So I missed out on a running 55hp Chrysler with TNT for a couple hundred bucks this morning. It popped up on craigslist and was gone in just 3 hours. Sigh.

And I'm back to the age old struggle of wait-or-no-wait for the "right"...

Start running your lines down. Check to see if you have power to the live well pump. If there is power there then the pump may be bad. If no power at live well, check at the switch. If you have power at the switch and no power at the live well pump,...

    New Nineteen Owner!!!

Just bought a 1976 Nineteen 2 weeks ago. I purchased it off of Craigslist and am stoked about getting this old girl on the water. I've had boats and jet skis here and there, but totally fell in love with this boat the minute I saw it. I love the lines,...

  • Thanks for the comments guys. The guy with the Evinrude 50 backed out of the deal with no explanation. So I ended up driving 14 hours round trip to get a 1989 Johnson 60 hp 3 cylinder. Just been in the shop and had gaskets put in the carbs. That was...

    Engine Code on Volvo

At the first startup this spring, the display on the speedometer says "check engine" and then displays what appears to be a hour glass icon. I find nothing in the manual regarding this? I notice that the toggle switch below the steering wheel...

  • 5.8 Litre OMC Cobra Idle Air Control no longer available?

I have just been informed by my technician that he cannot repair the rough idle and stalling on my 1993 Chris Craft Concept because the part is no longer available! The motor is a essentially a 5.8 litre Ford, so I am wondering if there is a compatible...

I have a trailer at French Creek Marina in Clayton N.Y.
At the back of the marina is a "boat junk yard".
I like to wander through waling the dawg, looking at the boats.
Spotted this Duratech up on blocks and it SCREAMED to...

Rheine, Not sure how much you are trying to match or replace, but you may consider replacing all the carpet and then it will all match and be new for years to come. It really isn't that expensive. Well at least not like re-carpeting a home... JMHO!...

    1997 sunbird 212 gas tank

So I have what looks like one 85 gallon tank. There is a switch on the console that says "main" and "aux".

Is there really an axilliary tank or just one single 85 gallon tank?

Looks just like my 86, good call on replacing the transom, mine was rotted. One think I changed is my cabin door swings in, much nicer leaving the cabin door open while fishing and still being able to use the passenger seat. If I rebuilt another starcraft...

Hi, I have a bit of a issue with my tracker magna 17ft. 1988. I have no info. I would like to know the amount the built in fuel tank holds. I have taken the oil autoblend out of service and would like to just add the oil to the tank. Would anyone have...
