The Snake Won

That was a funny tale to read. funny because I am now back up in WI, when I was in FL I watched a 6 foot rat snake go up into the engine compartment of my truck. yeah it wasn't so funny than. LOL I tried everything I could think of to get him out. nope not happening.
after 3 days of watching the idiot from WI (me) try to deal with a snake, my neighbor from GA walks over. "whatcha doin"? he asks. trying to get a dam snake out of my truck I say.
"well it's a black truck, park it in the sun"

yeah, hate it when the obvious doesn't come to you right away. 30 minutes in the sun and that snake couldn't get out fast enough. LOL

I live is a park style trailer.
​The frame it sets on they are 2x6 and hollow metal.
​I have a 4ft. black snake living in one of the rails.
​He keeps the local rat and lizard population in check.

​I thought I found a 6" Diamond Back Rattler in my boat.
Turns out it was a rat snake.
No idea how he got in the boat??

They shake their tail just like a rattler.
Snakes are VERY beneficial. Don't kill em.

Call someone to remove them.
