Threw my coffee maker out last week cuz it died ran out of keurig k cups this morning and to lazy to go to Tim hortons for coffee so what do I do I boil water then I put a coffee filter with coffee in a colander and sit the colander on top of a pot and voila brewed coffee lol

When you get out to buy more coffee pick up some coffee singles. Maxwell House is what I use. They look like tea bags but have coffee in them. Great for when all you have is hot water to work with and want coffee.

Additionally:
When you run out of filters (requires 2 coffee cups):
Boil water, pour grounds in cup and add boiled water, steep to desired result, carefully pour top coffee into 2nd cup and try not to get too many grinds...s spoon may also help. This is definitely a "roughing it" method tho.

The things we will do for a cup of coffee

Just heat water and add grounds. Let it sit for a few and throw in an egg. The egg will poach on the bottom trapping the grounds. Good to go!
