not sure how to word what im asking, but got a response on a for sale add i posted on kijiji, after the @ is hotmail.co.uk
my gut tells me not to respond because of the ".co.uk". should it not be .com or some other familiar extension?

All it means is the guy has a Hotmail email account based in the United Kingdom. He may live in N.S, now and is your next door neighbor.

nw - I mean it. He may be your neighbor. Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, etc. are ways people can keep an email address that doesn't change regardless of where they in the world or how often they change Internet providers.

If he's in the UK, yeah, they stay home. If he's close by, you may be passing up a sale.
